Career Profile

We are all students bound to finish school.. Now it's time for reality.... it's time to look for a job to apply the skills and knowledge that we have learned! As a Interior Architecture major, I will need to search for a job in the design field. I found that Undergraduate architecture students are reportedly facing  13.9 percent   unemployment rates, compared to the other struggling majors in the arts at  11.1 percent .  The job that I am aiming for is a technical designer for Gensler . I want this job because it’s a start to my career in architecture. Gensler is one of the biggest   integrated architecture, design, planning and consulting firm s in the world. A step into this company would be great for a successful future either to work for them or it would simply be a GREAT place to start. I will be participating in all project phases that includes conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents and

America A Melting Pot Since The Beginning

America. We are just a blend of many different world cultures in one big melting pot known as the United States of America. Some believe our melting pot heritage has become a stew that is starting to bubble over. Race relations in this country have never been easy, but it seems we've reached a tipping point where immigration reform is concerned. They were brave just like the others coming here with nothing, knowing no one and wanting to start a new life for their future. They just like many, had one vision and it was "The land of many op

Where I Am From

Where I’m from: San Diego  I’m from the Pacific Ocean, Anza Borrego desert, and the Laguna Mountains. I’m from a wide range of taco shops, and the mouthwatering California burritos. I’m from the red and black known as the Aztecs. I’m from professors who help guide me to success. I’m from long nights spent working, learning, completing, perfecting, and most of all having fun. Where I will grow, and plan to spend the rest of life at. From a land of paradise and love. Where everyone splits for college, but I will never leave. From tank tops and flip flops. I’m from the shores of cali, where the sand meets the water.   I’m from where the interstate 8 is your main route east to west.  From a city of multi cultured, and smiles on every face. From the best weather. I’m from those happy memories, fun and laughter. From a city where all pro teams grow then leave. But still have the truest of fans. From parents that seen me grow. From a family that
